TBWA Milan commissioned Marco Di Lauro for a series of shoots for their end client ENI – the Italian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Rome. ENI and TWBA conceived a campaign based around the hands at work of their workforce.
In his years out in the field working as a photojournalist, Marco had often documented the hands of his subjects as they are often revelatory and expressive. That experience, combined with his ability to work in difficult locations and circumstances, meant that he was a standout candidate for the campaign, working across multiple shoot locations.
